About us

Local, insured, and obsessive about clean.

Schuety Powerwashing is a locally owned exterior cleaning crew serving homeowners, landlords and businesses across the Cedar Valley. We show up when we say we will, treat your property like our own, and don't leave until the difference is obvious.

The right pressure for the right surface

Concrete can take real pressure. Vinyl siding cannot. That single distinction is where most exterior cleaning goes wrong — streaked panels, water behind the siding, etched driveways. We carry surface cleaners, adjustable tips and low-pressure soft wash equipment so every part of your property gets the method it was built for.

Power washing, explained

What is power washing?

Power washing uses a pressurized stream of water — sometimes heated, and paired with a cleaning solution — to lift dirt, algae, mildew, pollen, oil and road film off outdoor surfaces. It reaches deep into concrete pores and siding seams that a hose and brush simply can't.

How is soft washing different?

Soft washing drops the pressure way down and lets a mildew-killing detergent do the work. It's what we use on vinyl and painted siding, shutters, soffit and roofs so nothing gets etched, dented or forced behind the panels.

Will it damage my house or plants?

Not when the pressure, nozzle and detergent are matched to the surface. We rinse down landscaping before and after, keep the wand moving, and stay off surfaces that need a gentler method.

How often should I have it done?

Most homes look best on a once-a-year wash. Shaded north-facing walls, high-traffic concrete and commercial storefronts often need it twice a year.
